Terms of Service

By creating an account, accessing, or using Dofiq, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use Dofiq for an institution or another organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms on its behalf.

Dofiq is an education communication platform that may provide tutoring, classes, assignments, learning materials, video lessons, group and chat workflows, and teacher or administrator tools. Features may vary by role, institution, plan, or location.

You must provide accurate information, protect your account credentials, and notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account unless it results from our failure to protect the platform.

Students who are minors may use Dofiq only with the involvement, permission, or supervision required from a parent, guardian, or institution. Parents, guardians, and institutions are responsible for obtaining any consent needed for a student's use of Dofiq.

Dofiq may support students, parents or guardians, teachers, and institutions or administrators. Each role must use its access responsibly and only for legitimate educational or administrative purposes.

When using Dofiq, you must not:

• Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm another person.
• Upload or share illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content.
• Use Dofiq to cheat, misrepresent work, or undermine educational integrity.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your role or affiliation.
• Access accounts, data, systems, or groups without authorization.
• Scrape, disrupt, reverse engineer, or misuse Dofiq or its class and chat tools.
• Introduce malware, attempt to bypass security measures, or interfere with the platform.

Dofiq supports learning and communication, but does not guarantee particular grades, exam results, admissions decisions, or other educational outcomes. Results depend on many factors, including a learner's participation, effort, and circumstances.

Teachers and institutions are responsible for the accuracy, appropriateness, and lawful use of content, instructions, feedback, and communications they provide through Dofiq. They must manage student access and supervise educational activity as appropriate for their programs.

Dofiq may offer paid plans, tutoring services, or subscriptions. If you make a purchase, the applicable price, billing schedule, and other terms will be shown before the purchase is completed.

You retain rights you have in content you submit to Dofiq, such as assignments, messages, feedback, or learning materials. You grant Dofiq permission to host, process, display, and use that content only as needed to operate, support, secure, and improve the platform.

We work to keep Dofiq available and useful, but features may change, be updated, or be unavailable from time to time. We may modify or discontinue features when reasonably necessary to operate, improve, or protect the platform.

Dofiq may rely on third-party services for authentication, hosting, communications, video, payments, and related functions. These may include Supabase, Google OAuth, hosting providers, and communication or video providers. Your use of those services may also be governed by their terms and policies.

We may suspend or end access to Dofiq if we reasonably believe these terms have been violated, the platform or users may be at risk, or access is no longer needed for the applicable service. You may stop using Dofiq at any time.

Dofiq is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not make warranties that the platform will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. Dofiq is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the platform.

We may update these terms as Dofiq evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and may provide additional notice where appropriate. Continued use of Dofiq after an update means you accept the revised terms.
